Who We Are

G-Solutions management has extensive experience in providing management consulting services specific to profit improvement. Every senior member has over 20 years experience in business, and every associate member has at least 10 years in the business world.

Fred Galyean Sr.- President/Founder

Fred Gayean is unique in the fact that he started working for Pillsbury when he was 18 years old. He started as an hourly (Union) employee until he went into management at the age of 25. In the next 10 years, he worked for 4 divisions of Pillsbury, and had worked his way up to the Eastern Region Operations Manager of the Speas Division in Lyndonville N.Y.

At the age of 35, Galyean purchased a production plant (from Pillsbury) in Lyndonville, N.Y. and started a new company named Lyndonville Vinegar. In 5 years, he and his partner took Lyndonville Vinegar from $0 to $20M in profitable sales.

After the 5th year, he sold Lyndonville Vinegar to a Japanese interest and continued to work for the new company (Indian Summer) as Executive Vice President of Operations. In the next few years, he was instrumental in building Indian Summer into the largest vinegar producer in the U.S. He did this through acquisitions and the building of new world-class production facilities across the U.S. (This company is now Mizkan Americas - www.mizkan.com).

In 2001, Galyean started G-Solutions. Since that time, he has helped many clients improve their businesses. A background that extends from the hourly worker to COO has provided Galyean with experience and knowledge in all levels of company management. His firm belief in that The Customer Must Always Be The Main Focus of all efforts, and That Your People Make the Difference has enabled him to build some truly exceptional performing management teams.

David L. Speakman – Turn-around and Financial Expert

Dave Speakman is an operations-trained, numbers-oriented, senior general manager with extensive turn around experience. David worked his way up from Industrial Engineer to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer over a span of 42 years. His job experiences include projects at four of the largest food manufacturing companies in the world. David has a wide-ranging record of conceiving innovative ideas and conceptualizing unique product developments. David also has several patented processes/products in his repertoire.

As mentioned above, David has multi-levels of hands on experience in turn around situations. He is extremely effective in working with upper management to define issues and problems, and in developing workout plans. David can also lead efforts to bring out of control situations into compliance with solid, ongoing operating procedures for the future. David has broad experience in managing finance departments for small to medium sized manufacturing companies, having recently served as COO/CFO for a total of four years.

J. Patrick Haly - HR and Executive Coaching Specialist

As a sales manager for the Colson Corporation (a division of the Mormon Group in Chicago) Pat distinguished himself by becoming one of Colson's top producers and quickly advanced to upper level management. Pat then transferred to Philadelphia, then to New York City and finally to Atlanta in 1962. This is where he formed National Personnel Recruiters in January 1970, which quickly became a leading national executive search firm. More recently, Pat developed a very successful highly acclaimed "Career Strategies Course" for professionals in transitions and is currently working on his book "Going The Distance." Pat recently published "The Spirit and The Word" through the Caring Hands of Rotary.

Pat is a member of the National Association of Executive Recruiters, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Tommy Nobis Center and he is an expert witness for human resource cases for leading legal firms. Along with working with G-Solutions, Pat is also president of National Personnel Recruiters.

Jerold R. Recht - Sales Systems and Sales Training

Jerry personifies the seasoned business professional with outstanding success in Services and Consulting Sector for a variety of industries. Jerry has provided both leadership and direction to Fortune 1000 companies and has been awarded many times for his diligence in providing the best in Customer Satisfaction, Project Management, and Sales.

Jerry began his professional career in the Retail Grocery Industry, managing a chain of associated grocery stores in a family owned business in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Prior to this, Jerry was a Senior Practice Manager for Business Objects and directed their services business for the South East and for specific Financial Accounts on Wall Street. Not only did Jerry drive business for his organizations, he also drove the development and definition of the services, processes, offerings, and methodologies used today by Business Objects.

A sample of Jerry's customers and clients include: AT&T, Bellsouth, Verizon, GE, Proctor & Gamble, Sara Lee, Disney, FedEx, UPS, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, Bristol Myer Squibb, Schering Plough, etc. Along with working with G-Solutions, Jerry is Vice President of Operations for National Personnel Services.
